Responsible for managing a project team of engineers with diverse skillsets across desktop and mobile device management and virtual desktops and application delivery including Citrix, Azure VDI and Windows 365. Physical device management includes Windows PC’s, Apple devices (MacS, iOS, iPads) and Android devices (Samsung, Cisco, Zebra, etc.).

Led a team that researched and deployed products that integrated with the Cerner EMR. Research included finding a suitable secure messaging solution for the healthcare environment allowing clinicians and physicians to communicate securely and quickly. Integrations included the Philips bedside monitoring system and ensuring the enterprise Philips environment of over 45 facilities all upgraded to the same version of software and consolidated into a single service agreement. The majority of time was spent on strategy, understanding clinical workflows and researching solutions, solution testing, attending meetings with vendors and clinicians and leading out on meetings with presentations to large clinical audiences and c-suite executives.

Led a team that integrated various medical devices and systems with the Cerner EMR. Integration was accomplished by Cerner’s iBus system directly connecting to the devices using serial adapters or through backend servers. Managed day to day operations and leading through one on one conversations, performance reviews, reporting and time tracking. Developed written policies and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for the team. Developed and updated job descriptions. Led the team in projects, managing projects and as a resource manager for larger projects. Involved in the full life cycle of projects from creating scope documents to creating and driving a project timeline and deliverables. Reported weekly on project status calling out any risk or issues as they occurred. Devices integrated to Cerner included Bedside Monitors, Ventilators, Endoscopy Systems, Glucose Monitoring integration (Endotool, Glucomander) Lab Systems, Fetal Monitoring, IV Pumps and patient beds.
